Family Orders: Small Runs, No Minimum
For a family of four to ten, heat transfer vinyl is the right method. It has no minimum, it handles a different name on every shirt without extra setup, and it works in specialty finishes like glitter, metallic, and glow-in-the-dark, which kids love. - Youth and toddler sizes: available on most styles, so the whole family can match.
- Coordinating, not identical: same design in different shirt colors, or "Mom," "Dad," and each kid's name on the back.
- Pets: some families add a matching bandana. Ask.
Office Parties and Larger Groups
For 12 or more of the same design, screen printing usually brings the per-shirt price down, and it's very durable. Office teams use holiday shirts for the company party, a holiday volunteer day, a toy drive, or a team photo for social media. For a fun touch, print the department or team name on the back. Design Tips for Holiday Shirts That Look Good in Photos
- One big, simple graphic: bold shapes and two or three colors read best from across a room and in group photos.
- Add the year: "The Smith Family Holiday 2026" turns a shirt into a keepsake people pull out every December.
- Mind the shirt color: red, green, and heather gray are classic; cream and navy look more modern. Test how your design reads on the shirt color you pick; we'll show you in the mockup.
- Keep personalization short: first names and nicknames fit best on the back or upper sleeve.

Original Designs Only
We can't print copyrighted cartoon characters, movie art, or sports team logos that you don't own the rights to. What we can do is design something original in the same spirit: a custom holiday illustration, a family crest, a funny inside joke, or a hand-lettered family name. An original design is also the one nobody else at the party will have.
When to Order
To have family shirts in hand by Friday, December 18, approve your proof by Friday, December 4. For a party on Friday, December 11, approve by Wednesday, November 25.
